For those who missed the full blood or super blood moon as it is also called early this morning you will find some pictures that I took during the early morning hours. The thermometer showed -26'C so the batteries in the camera quickly ran out in the cold but I could take some pictures that I want to share with me.
Everything started past 3 in the morning but in the beginning it was difficult to see anything happen but slowly a dark shadow began to cover the moon. It was only past 5 that you could start to sense a red / orange color with the naked eye and after 6 the moon was completely in shade. Must admit that it was not the clear red color that I expected and the camera's light sensitivity make it look much more clear.
